Once a week take a peek

Welcome to Allerton Primary School

Mrs TurnerWelcome. This website should give you a good idea of what our school is like as well as making communication with everyone as easy as possible. You will be able to find recent newsletters and general information about the running of the school. More importantly, you can find out about the wide range of activities and learning that the children take part in during school. We have a busy and creative curriculum which we hope to share with you via this website.

We truly hope that this tells you all you need to know. If not, please just call and ask. We are proud of our school and stand by our motto ‘Your educational journey starts here’. But don’t simply take our word for it – come and see for yourself. We would be delighted to show you around

Many thanks

Amanda Turner, Headteacher

Book Week

It has been an amazing week of book activities and the focus on reading helps with everything else we do at school. There were many strange adults in school –  amongst others, Papa Smurf, Tree Fu Tom, Hermione Granger and plenty of big Little Miss characters! The children looked absolutely stunning and brought in books to prove who they were!
Thank you for sharing in our Dressing Up Book Day.

Wes Magee is a poet and children's author. He came into Allerton to work with our children from Foundation all the way through to Year 6. Take a look at our class pages to see what we did.

Mrs Dellar came into school to explain all about what Easter means in the Christian faith. She even showed us a little bit of magic.
