Once a week take a peek

Welcome to Allerton Primary School

Mrs TurnerWelcome. This website should give you a good idea of what our school is like as well as making communication with everyone as easy as possible. You will be able to find recent newsletters and general information about the running of the school. More importantly, you can find out about the wide range of activities and learning that the children take part in during school. We have a busy and creative curriculum which we hope to share with you via this website.

We truly hope that this tells you all you need to know. If not, please just call and ask. We are proud of our school and stand by our motto ‘Your educational journey starts here’. But don’t simply take our word for it – come and see for yourself. We would be delighted to show you around

Many thanks

Amanda Turner, Headteacher

News & Reminders

Attendance Champions And 100% In It To Win It Winner!

Daniel in Year 2 won the fabulous prize of a family ticket to The Jungle Zoo in Cleethorpes (donated kindly by the Zoo) and a great family game. Congratulations!

Parley-vous Francais

Onatti Productions came into school to perform a 2 man performance for years 5 & 6. The performances are for students studying language, in our case French. The part of Ben was played by and English actor, whilst the actress who played Madame Blanc, the nurse and Nicole was native French. Find out more on the Peregrines and Kestrels pages.

Mr Lee

Mr Lee came into school to talk about guitar lessons. Two children who already take lessons with him played solo tunes during the assembly. Mr Lee played a song called 'there was an old lady who swallowed fly'. See more pictures on our Visitors page

Summer Fair

We had a fabulous turnout, and thanks to your generosity we have added an incredible £930 to our school fund to support our indoor play equipment and games.

Healthy Places scheme

As part of the Healthy Places scheme, Mrs Wade gave us the opportunity to take part in a food swap. We swapped food that might be unhealthy for fruit kebabs and cups of grapes and strawberries. It was a great success.
