Parent View - Give Ofsted your view on your child's school

Welcome to Allerton Primary School

Mrs TurnerWelcome. This website should give you a good idea of what our school is like as well as making communication with everyone as easy as possible. You will be able to find recent newsletters and general information about the running of the school. More importantly, you can find out about the wide range of activities and learning that the children take part in during school. We have a busy and creative curriculum which we hope to share with you via this website.

We truly hope that this tells you all you need to know. If not, please just call and ask. We are proud of our school and stand by our motto ‘Your educational journey starts here’. But don’t simply take our word for it – come and see for yourself. We would be delighted to show you around

Many thanks

Amanda Turner, Headteacher

News & Reminders

Year 6 parents

On Monday 26th January there will be a meeting after school to discuss the end of year SATs assessments. Refreshments will be available so come along for a short presentation and a question and answer session that will explain what we are doing at school and will give you the opportunity to discuss any issues you may have.

School Closures

If there is severe weather and the school needs to close, details will be posted on the school website and mentioned on the local radio stations at Lincs FM, Viking FM and BBC Radio Humberside.

Parent Governor required

An opportunity has arisen for a parent to join the governing body. If you are interested in becoming part of this influential group please send a letter saying why you would like to be a governor at Allerton. The letters can be addressed to the chair of governors, Monica Fannon.

Allerton in the press

We were recently featured in Focus Schools News - a newspaper produced by local schools with The University of Lincoln and Focus on Community. See our 2-page spread.

The highest attending class is the Sparrowhawks with 99%. Well done to you all!

Free School Meals and Pupil Premium

Schools are given extra funding for a child who is eligible for free school meals now or has been eligible in the past. This money is an important part of our school budget so if you are entitled to claim or think you are and would like to chat about it, please let us know.

Education CityEducationCity
