Welcome to Allerton Primary School

Mrs TurnerWelcome. This website should give you a good idea of what our school is like as well as making communication with everyone as easy as possible. You will be able to find recent newsletters and general information about the running of the school. More importantly, you can find out about the wide range of activities and learning that the children take part in during school. We have a busy and creative curriculum which we hope to share with you via this website.

We truly hope that this tells you all you need to know. If not, please just call and ask. We are proud of our school and stand by our motto ‘Your educational journey starts here’. But don’t simply take our word for it – come and see for yourself. We would be delighted to show you around

Many thanks

Amanda Turner, Headteacher

News & Reminders

Congratulations to the Peregrines who are the best attendance winners this week with 99.5%. A super well done to you all!

In It To Win It!

Three times a year we have a prize draw and all pupils who have had 100% attendance have the chance to win a great family prize. This year we are offering a parent prize too because without you, your child would not attend every day. If your child is eligible, you will receive an invitation to come to school on Thursday 18th December at 9:10 for that special assembly. The parent and pupil prize draw will take place that day.

Eek Day Year 6

Year 6 visited Phillips 66, in Killingholme to take part in an Educating Engineering Kids Day. Schools from the local area had lots of fun using a distillation process, making a rocket and building straw towers. Take a look at our day.

Cross Country Championships

Local primary schools took part in the Primary Schools Cross Country Championships 2015, sponsored by Sainsburys. 36 children took part in the event from Year 3 to Year 6, including children from our school. Overall we came 3rd and only missed 2nd place by a few points. We had a fantastic day.

Pause for Paris

The children Paused for Paris on Monday at 11am for a reflection.

Parent Volunteers

Would you like to volunteer to hear children read at school? It’s a great way to get to know the school and it’s also an important service you would be offering to a group of children. Please feel free to come and chat about it if you’d like more details.

Wendy Hubbard

Wendy, the Road Safety Representative, came to talk to us about road safety. Find out what she told us.
